I watched a rerun the other day of "To Wong Foo" with Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes and John Leguziamo, and I have to say, they dragged  up pretty damn good.

I always wondered if Patrick was a closet queen because damned if he wasn't serving up some society bridge club 'realness' as RuPaul would say. He looked just like some uptight local society matron.

Another good drag movie if you can find it is Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Drag from down under.

Drag seems to be growing in popularity in the past decade or so. I cracked up at Cuba Cooding Jr's performance in Boat Trip.

That is a great movie! Terrance Stamp was a great Queen in that, so elegant. And the costumes were fabulous.

So which bitch has caught your eye this season?

Raja definitely brings it with her bold choices on the main stage. Shangela is definitely getting an obvious push. I think those two are going to be in the final 3. No one else sticks out, it's a pretty whitebread group of queens this season. I must say Both Carmen and Delta Work are working my last nerve.

Manila just is annoying me by constantly relying on the Asian stereotype, kind of like Carmen with the body. Don't they have anything else to offer?

Alexis is kind of that 'safe' middle of the road, I really don't see her standing out. Stacy is just too naive country. Delta is pretty consistent too although she stumbled with her Cher. And Oh God please hurry up and send miss Shangela home. The more I see of her the less I want to see! I liked that Civil War Corpse bride dig.

So at the finish line America's next Drag Superstar was my pick. Raja did it!

The full episode is not up yet but this was a pretty interesting episode of Deadliest Warrior with all the geek speak and ASS-umptions being made about vampires. In this case perhaps they should have called in Quincy to give the medical view of things because dead people do not have the same physiology as the living. Or we can just send Kai to inform them that the dead do not 'bleed out'.

"Deadliest Warrior" must be Jones-ing for new stuff if they're reduced to fictional creatures.  It's a lot more interesting when they compete with people and weapons that truly exist.

But that's just my humble opinion.

I like the real people too but I have to give them credit for trying especially with things like Vampires 'bleeding out' and 'succumbing to viruses'.

Hello! Last I heard, dead things could carry bacteria but viruses needed a living host.

Deadliest Warrior seems to me like a fun kind of show but I was horrified when I found out that there are people out there who take that shit seriously...:-)
Come to think of it, by making a vampire special or Blade vs. Nuada Silverspear special or whatever, the show actually sort of admits its true colors...:D

*chuckle* Actually, I'd love to see a Blade vs. Nuada show.  And I'd be rooting for Nuada all the way!  He was severely bada**!!
