I mentioned a while ago that I was working on an Ezine for my fan fiction. I finally got it done. The bugs are worked out.

This link was removed the correct link is http://www.ezinespace.com/fanfiction

I will be posting my own Fan Fiction but I don't want it to just be my own. I set it up with open submissions so feel free to post your own Fan fiction, poems etc so we can all enjoy it without worrying about how much bandwidth we are eating up!

You can subscribe and will get an e-mail notice when new issues are published. The link is to the first issue I'm going to be doing a bit more work on the description, etc but since I'm working with the developer he wanted to get it tested.

The other nice thing is that subscribers can create and publish their own Ezines too. How this for a title, "BILBO: Strongest man in the LEXXVERSE":c030a:

Anyhoo, I posted the First cycle story so far on it and will be continuing it there so please stop by and subscribe to get the updates

Really interesting concept, sort of like Wordpress for writers. Great idea.

Okay getting ready to start on the next issue and need a bit of an assist here. Has anyone written (OR could write) a Halloween themed LEXX story? I'd like to have one to include in the fanfic ezine, of course with proper credit given to the author.

I just brought up my story, which should be below this post, it's the only Lexx Halloween story I'd written.

Okay after a lot of butt busting and bug hunting (For a minute there I was finding so many bugs I thought I was on The Cluster!) The ezine is up and running correctly.

You can subscribe http://www.ezinespace.com/fanfiction

You can also publish your own ezine for any purpose you like, your hobbies, as a family magazine etc. I'd love to get some subscribers and contributors stories poems etc. Thanks Angel for being the first contributor. Kind of living up to your name there:c030a:

Wow, that is excellent. Hmmm. I don't know if I'm supposed to talk about it before anyone who might not have read it yet... So:

**** SPOILERS ***

It's my summary mostly, so don't read this before reading the story:

I love that there is a masculine and a feminine god who each give birth to men and women. And Kai is named after the Goddess Rakais, being on the feminine/human side. As opposed to the masculine insectoid side. The masculine side is rigid and orderly, (which is what you would think you needed if you were afraid). And women are sentient.

So, over the cycles of time what the feminine side needs is: hatred, self-sacrifice, iconoclasm and coffee.

I can't wait for more. Really great.

As a male speaking for the masculine side I have to apologize for the slime trails, offensive odors and earth shattering mating calls.

Thanks Angel Hopefully it will gain readers.
Thanks for the review Vartan. What I'm going to do with the ezine is go through each cycle in turn right now it's the first cycle being published but you can read the fifth cycle here it's a LONG one.

Just a note on TOS if anyone would like to make submissions.
No ehem, adult content.
If you come across a story somewhere else by someone else you can submit the link to their story since it will link directly to the original post.

Just thought I'd get the housekeeping out of the way.

I just published the new issue of the ezine. I'm trying to get finished with the first cycle but the crotchety OB is giving me a case of writer's block. Good thing I'm like 5 or six issues ahead of myself! No stress yet.

I'm distracted by real life stuff and I'm still reading the fifth cycle, but I had a thought:

Maybe you or other authors here might want to make ebook versions. I use "calibre" to create mobi files for reading on my Kindle. You give it files in various formats and it converts them to various other formats. You can also view the result in calibre if you don't have an ebook reader (to see what the conversion looks like).

So far, I'm still really enjoying this story. I'm sorry I'm probably neglecting other people's art here that I'm not aware of yet.

That's something I may need to put some thought into. Since each cycle is it's own novella.

Thanks

Okay good news and bad news. Good news is we found the glitch that makes the ezines publish with no content and it's a server issue. Bad news it will take at least 24 to move all the data. More good news-we won't lose everything this time!

Really good news! got it fixed new issue is published. It only took moving to a different server and re-writing a section of code.

Look for the issue titled "Brunnis One 3.5"

Okay I just made it easier to subscribe to the ezine. You can sign up for it to be delivered to you by email when it's published by visiting my blog at http://pplcheryl63.blogspot.com/ and filling out the subscription form there.

Don't worry I'm not selling anything! It's just a journal of my thoughts,

Abby, I didn't get a confirmation e-mail yet...

I use Twitter mainly to follow bands and movie/TV related stuff. It's not terribly interactive... I have it synced with Facebook, so whatever I post on Facebook automatically goes to Twitter. I'm also still on MySpace - for some bizarre reason. LOL I'm addicted to Facebook, though!

Still no confirmation e-mail, Abby... and I checked to make sure it wasn't going into my spam folder, too. I'll try again using my alternate e-mail addy.
