Ok, how much money would you cough up, (providing you actually HAD the money, mind you)..to see ALL the members of the Lexx cast together in one place...that means;

Brian, Xenia, Michael, Jeffrey, Ellen, Patty, Rolf, Louise,  Lex G, and possibly Paul? If there was a once in a lifetime opportunity ?

I'll leave this up for a couple weeks for everyone to think about...:)

I'd love to see the cast again!  My experience in meeting the people behind the characters has been an amazing one because they are such wonderful people, and I'm glad I've had that opportunty twice to do that.  Would I do it again?  You betcha.

How much money would I spend?  All of it. (I haven't quite recovered - financially or otherwise - from going to Timeless yet, to see 50% of them.... worth every penny  :D)

I would love to see ALL the case members together again. I can only imagine the energy and creativity that culminated in the creation of Lexx. I would give anything to be a part of the fun!

I know this might sounds mad - but I wouldn't spend anything. I don't think I'd like to meet them :S

It may shatter my illusion ..... :|

I touched upon this subject one night with BK, about do you see the cast any differently after you had met them, in other words, does it shatter any illusion or fantasy a person may have had about the character they portrayed?  I've met Xenia, Brian and Michael twice now, and having met them just makes me appreciate what they brought to their character more.  I understand alot more now about what it took to become that character.  I look at Kai now, or Stan now or Xev now and say, oh that's Michael, Brian and Xenia.  I appreciate the work and talent that went into developing that character and it makes me enjoy it alot more now when I watch the show.  I'd have no qualms about meeting them again.

I think I would see them differently as people, but the way I'd view the characters wouldn't change much. They are the actors who played the characters, but they are not the characters themselves. IMO, a really good performance in a good story is when you forget all about the actor. However, I can understand that if you can't really separate the two in your head, that you might not want to meet them, because it might spoil the fun of watching the show.

Yeah I know what you are all saying. And I'm really glad that they are great people.

I guess it's just me :S

I love the show dearly, don't get me wrong and I think it's the best thing EVER! I just wouldn't make a big deal about meeting them.

Maybe if I lived nearer to the conventions, then I'd probably be more interested and having written it off many years ago because I live in a pretty much Lexxless country means I've no real passion to do it!

Yeah what she (Angel) said.:P When I met the cast I wasn't expedting to meet Stan, Xev, Michatl, Kai, & Giggerota. I met Brian, Xenia, Michael, & Ellen. It gave me a greater appreciation of their interpretation and the work they put into developing their character. While it is interesting to see various aspects of a cast members personality show through in their character, the cast members are definitely NOT the characters they portray. I think of them more as special lexx friends that were directly involved in creating the show.:D

Well, I guess you have to live in USA to meet them *sigh*

I would pay between $1000 and $1500 to see them I think. (well, hey...I have to add the flight costs *lol*)

It would be a BLAST to meet them all....

as a part time, and not especially committed, dabbler in geekdom, I once went to a star trek convention (I know) to point and laff at the fanpeeps in dressup. while there I had the good fortune to meet Michael Dorn, who happened to play my favourite TNG character, Worf. an interesting man, possessed of a sparkling intellect and a fine sense of humour, not to mention a voice like deep velvet and honey.
point is, meeting him had no adverse effects on my affection for The Big Klingon :p. it was a discrete event, for want of a better descriptive. and I enjoy meeting the soul behind the music I love, so I guess it wouldn't be too much different.

but (finally) to answer the op. zip. I'm also resident of a lexxless land, so no likelihood of meeting these fine thesps any time soon. having said that, we may not be lexxless for too much longer. one of my careers involves networking with large numbers of filmies, and I've managed to convert a couple already. these two will undoubtedly go on to convert more, and so it may well go on.

further, we have world scifi convention happening here in september 2010, so who knows. we may be a lexxland by then, and the cast/beans might see fit to attend. that'd be very cool :D

I would pay them $1000 each as that's all I could afford, in return, I would require they provide me with about 20 hours a week for 9-12 weeks for some on screen work. I would get some of my film buddies who I know to help me do some green screen work, and do everything against a green screen. Then release it on the internet. For this time, I would most certainly pay :>

It depends on what country I will be in at that moment. . If I’m in Chicago and the meeting place is in another city I’ll go there and I’ll buy a ticket if it has a reasonable price. But I won’t fly to another country.
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in his outstanding "The little prince" wrote fabulous words: You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. I don’t know a single person who doesn’t know this, so…so, these people created something that will live long after its creators’ deaths and I do believe that those who tamed so many hearts are responsible for these hearts.
However, if I’m not mistaken there was never such an event where all of the cast members presented?
