I'm about to finish Sylvia Browne's "Levels of Creation". It's a wonderful book about earth, the spirit world, and 'the other side' from a Nostic Christian perspective. I really live Sylvia Browne's writings. They are very uplifting, and even when she talks about spirits and psychic phenomenon, it's from a practical point of view.

The 'Bloodline of the Holy Grail" by Laurence Gardner, it's the basis of what the "DaVinci Code" was written from.

The CD collection "In Their Own Words, The Space Race - The First 10 Years" It's really interesting. It covers the Mercury, Gemeni, & Apollo series missions. It's mostly archived audio from Mission Control in Houston and a bit of narration to set the timelines and parallel what was going on in the US in conjunction with various missions.

I am reading "Lancelot Du Lac" which was translated in old french. Written about 14th century, its the first story to really delve in Lancelot's life. Its freaking fabulous!

I'mm about 2/3 of the way through "Timothy Leary - An Experimental Life" by Robert Greenfield. I remember seeing Timothy Leary in 1982 and listening to him give his 'turn on, tune in, drop out' message. I had my doubts about his message back then and still do to some degree today. But he was an interesting guy and the book is a good read.

Oh Timothy Leary is still a fave among the old hippie set. My brother, who's a pharmacist, says they close down on his birthday, heheh..

Just polished off Moby-Dick, after having wanted to read it for years. It was worth the effort, I'm glad I read it, but I'm thinking I need to dumb it down and give my brain a breather after running that gauntlet...

Love your Black Sabbath quote there, Bilbo...
I've just finished James Fenimore Cooper's "Last of the Mohicans" and it's staggeringly good, but the guy is very long-winded. Now I'm going to tackle Edith Wharton's "House of Mirth", the same author that penned "Age of Innocence", which was made into a film starring the yummy Daniel Day-Lewis, one of my fave actors. Can't wait.

The Heaven & Hell era lineup (Dio, Iommi, Butler, Appice) is currently touring. I'd give anything to see that show, but it doesn't look like they're coming anywhere near my neck of the woods.

The Secret History of the Pink Carnation by Lauren Willig - haven't gotten that far into it but supposedly it is about one of the heroic British spies that came after the Scarlet Pimpernel.

Yeah, they've been advertising the crap out of it here, it looks like the last go-round for this lot. They're not getting any younger and the Road is a tough mistress.
