Hmmm... all these controls will take some getting used to.
Anyway, has anyone seen "Heroes" yet? I'm getting a real kick out of this program! Hiro and the indestructible cheer-leader are very engaging characters.
But what I really want is to see them all wearing spandex!

LOL! I watched the first ep and found it to be very cliche, and wasn't sure if I was going to ever watch it again, but I have been, and I find I really like it, and am rooting for Hiro! I miss some of it because I usually open chat, and end up not paying attn to about half the program, but I like it so far.

They show a re-run on Sci-Fi Fridays, just before Doctor Who. It's actually taking a toll on my personal life! Some of my RL friends are wondering where I'm disappearing to on Friday nights!

I don't get sci fi anymore, unfortunately. But I've seen both seasons of the new Dr. Who, thanks to Plif in Ireland who's been taping it, and he's also taping Torchwood, so I'll get to see that, which I am really excited about seeing!

I've been watching it, I think the premise is pretty good and some of the SFX are great, but geez, let's find out what's so special about 'Saving the Cheerleader' already, heheh..

Just caught tonights episode.
WOW!
The plot thickens - and I'm thinking the explosion we saw in the first episode (or was it the second - they're running together on me) was "Syler" taking the radioactive guys brain.
I was looking forward to more on the subplot about the Vegas showgirl and her son, but they didn't even touch on that tonight. But Hiro's jaunt into the past looks like it'll be interesting! Loved the touch where the waitress is opening the huge can just as her brain is removed in a similar fashion!
And the cheerleader's Dad already knows she's "special" - hmmm!

This new radio active guy character is very strange. Well we discovered that radioactive guy and reading minds guy both have the same marks on them. I hope that Hiro can save the waitress whom he went back in time to try and help. I wonder what the point is to syler and the brains?

I'm rooting for him, too. I thought they would've made for a cute couple, and her abilities would have been an excellent complment to Hiro's.
And did you notice "Sylers" apparent telekinetic abilities?

Yes, I noticed Syler's abilities early on. He could *force* people to do what he wanted with his mind and make things move. I wonder what he uses their brains for, does he derive power from them, does it somehow increase his powers? Very strange indeed. I hope HIRO is a hero next week!

Sylar headed for the wrong cheerleader, the typical bitchy one got taken out instead. Interesting power that Peter has, to be able to absorb the power of those around him, so technically, he could be another Sylar when around him. So the only one that can control him is the girl that could get him to fall asleep. I've missed some of the story line, so I wasn't quite sure how she fit into all of this. I hope Hiro was able to save the waitress, I am rooting for his character. Until next episode..

It's kind of different, at first I didn't like it, now it's growing on me.

Just saw the first two eps! Brilliant stuff! Thought the dialogue was a little bit cheesy, but there's some intruiging set-ups going on...cant wait to see the rest!

That's what I thought too when I saw the first ep, that it was too cliche. But I gave it another chance and now am hooked.
