Hey, Lexxians, does anyone know about these?

There were supposedly at least 3 Lexx books written by a Dennis Valdron.

If anyone has seen or heard of these anywhere, please let me know.

Thanks,
Squish

Synopsis
A mix of comedy, sex and special effects, the sci-fi television show "Lexx" is an epic tale of a sentient spaceship and its crew of misfits - a cowardly security guard, a centuries-old reanimated assassin, a lovesick robot head and a sex slave call Xev. This book is a complete, fully authorized guide to all 57 episodes and 4 TV movies, with cast and crew interviews and photographs.

Again, Warpax to the rescue!  :2567:

I don't think this is what I've heard about though.  I think Dennis Valdron is actually a fan of the show who wrote true novels based on the first season.  I don't think it's a guide with interviews and such.

I'll keep looking.  Thanks hun!

Ah okay. I found an "out of print" novel on amazon.com --- it must be the story to the first episode... wait, I'll get the link for you

Well, on the last two there is no further information on amazon, but maybe somewhere else

If you guys are looking for Lexx books, I hate to bust your bubble but the only authentic one was a German-language Lexx book issue by Paul Donovan, extremely limited pressing and it's been gone for years. I think Cheshie had one, but I don't know if she still has it.

The others never actually materialized. The books that you're talking about that Valdron did was a limited Lexx book that he owned the rights to publish and he didn't want to make alot of copies of it. It's self-published and he did get some permission to show pics and do a set visit with cast members (Paul actually had respect for this guy) but he refused to make this self-made book public for Lexx fans in general. Don't ask me why, have no idea. I believe he printed up one for someone at the tune of about $100 but I could be wrong on the price. Valdron (Den) was a fan, and NOT in any way officially connected with Lexx or its production.

The closest thing to a production book is the Cinefantastique 6 page in-depth production article before the show ever came out. Here's some links to the pages:

This production manual came out before the show hit the US TV market, and has great detail about the production and design.

As an author (of my own published work, not of Lexx), I'd be happy to write something for the fans. It would take luck, skill, and knowing the right people before it became any sort of "official," however.

Thanks Angel. I will ask the seller if they are the ones you said.

To the books I listet...
I am so silly!!! I have got the two books written after season 1. The first book is with the story of season 1.1 (Rebellen der Galaxis) and the second book includes 1.2 1.3 and 1.4 and is titled "Supernova". Well the first book was quite good for they took a whole book to tell the story of the first episode, the second book is - let's say okay - but nothing more than a very short summary of the next three episodes...
I remembered the cover shown on ebay but since we have moved I had not opened every book-box yet but I could not help - I knew that covers. And I do have these two books... I am so silly....

If you had the right amount of CDO (which is similar to OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order like they're frakkin' 'sposed ta be), you might consider purchasing them... and then making use of the Google Translator tool, line by line.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. There's not really any market for commercial Lexx fiction, especially since the show has been over 10 years and not even so much as a glimmer of a return. I guess we'll have to be content with fanfiction....
