This is purely my own interpretation of the gardeners song which I suppose was written by Marty Simon that appears in episode 3.09. Of course Simon's original work is copyrighted and this is only intended for educational purposes and the private and non-commercial enjoyment of Lexx fans.
Critique is most welcome, and this can without any doubt be greatly improved - or contribute your own tablature for Lexx music... for instance, has anyone worked out what that echo-ey distorted chord which is prominent in the show's intro song and throughout the show is? ... or maybe the post a tab for the whole intro/Yo-way-yo song? ... I think the key of F... is the chord Gm?

I had a request this week for music from the first Lexx soundtrack (now out of print)so I compiled 4 zip files and loaded them up at Megaupload for your listening pleasure. The files include Brigadoom, various Lexx music not on any soundtrack and also the first soundtrack, Tales of a Parallel Universe, and the Lexx techno versions of various songs.
Here are the links, just follow the prompts at Megaupload, and the files are NOT small..so allow for lots of downloading time...
Enjoy ! !

Awesome. Awesome to the max! (sorry...sinuses are stuffed up, so my brain's getting oxygen at about half capacity)
Id been looking everywhere for the Season 1 CD, which seems to have fallen into obscurity. To be honest, I'm not entirely thrilled that both it and the season 2/3 version spliced bits of dialogue into the music (stand-alone bumper tracks are fine), but that's my only complaint, and a mild one at that. The rest of the material you provided is a godsend, so consider me willing to take a bullet for you. (Of course, bullets aren't very heavy and fit easily into most pockets, so I see no reason why you couldn't take it wherever it needs to go yourself...but my word is my bond!)
Couple questions:
*Who produced/recorded the techno tracks?
*Am I the only one who wishes they could get Mike, Xenia, and some backup singers together and do an album-length re-recording of the entire Brigadoom soundtrack?
Thanks a bunch, Maya!

The techno tracks were done by various fans, a bunch of them were done by Pet, who also created the Lexx cartoon characters ala Homer Simpson, but she was asked to take them down a long time ago, and subsequently 'retired' from Lexx fandom.. Some of the others were done by unknown fans, and I have no way of figuring them out,
Glad y'all like them...

Those Simpsons characters still around anywhere, or are they gone for good? Somebody did an absolutely glorious Futurama mash-up a while back that I linked to one of the picture threads.
I particularly enjoy the "End Party" and "Kai Techno" mixes. The latter--a somber, slow build--sounds like something that might play over a shot of the handful of Brunnen-G warriors as they readied their stingers and said their last goodbyes, then blasted off toward their rendezvous with destiny as the song builds to a crescendo.
The first measure of the former eerily recalls the Beverly Hills Cop theme, which automatically wins a jillion points in my book!
Makes me want to dig through my notes and see if I can find the lyrics and rudimentary tabs for the Lexx heavy metal song I wrote a few years back (I actually still sing the parts I remember to myself from time to time) ;p

I tried to hit one of those off the high dive when I was a kid. Ah, the high notes I was nailing that night!

There were also some great South Park Lexx pics out there, I'll have to dig for those though...

Hi, I'm new here, and I just wanted to ask whether there are any scores or chords for the songs in Brigadoom? Don't want to reinvent the wheel if it's been done before.

There are musical sheets of Brigadoom done by Andre Haines, a friend of mine bought them years ago off ebay and they are signed by Andre.

Of course! Hope she wants to share them. But if not -- it stays her decision and I will accept that of course
*keeping fingers crossed*

Fair enough. *crosses various appendages*
In case we aren't lucky, do you know if there are any versions floating around on the net from people who have tried to work out the music before?

Hi Delyth - at least one "fan version" is on the michaelmcmanus.com site (I think it was in the downloads section, right where the Brigadoom-Lyrics start) - My version of "Two hearts". Sheet with notes and lyrics on. I have not mangaged to write down more stuff yet. It is a hard piece of work but at least I finished this one song. There is also a midi-file of this sheet to listen to. Sounds a bit "lifeless" for it is played by a computer (not on a piano) but it's okay for listening to it to get melody and rythm.
