Perhaps you've heard about this show before? Well, I still love it.

Forever Knight is about a vampire, Nicholas DeBrabant (played by Geraint Wyn Davies), who is about 800 years old. He regrets what he is and what he has done to those who crossed his way, so he now works as a cop - Detective Nick Knight - and gets help from his mortal friend and examiner Dr. Natalie Lambert.

Of course his master, Lucien LaCroix (played by Nigel Bennett) doesn't want his son to become mortal again. And so he tries to interfere from time to time...

I did watch some of it here in the states when it aired in the early 90's, they had it on only on Sunday nights t 10:30 pm, and I caught it here and there.  And of course they're the episode that Michael McManus was in, For I have sinned, which I have seen a few times too.  I even remember the original Nick played by Rick Springfield.  I never got into the show that much, but I do have a dvd that has 4 of the eps on it, thanks to Maya.

Hey don't forget Michael played a delicious priest in 'For I have sinned" in Season 1 (Thornbirds anyone?) and Ellen played a Dominatrix in an episode as well. !

One reason why I love this show is that each episode has a flashback in it. My fav, of course, is the master vampire Lucien LaCroix ;-)

I'm a fan for 12 years now...

I stumbled across FK back in 2001, while following up Michael's work. Anyway, long story short, I fell in love with the proggy and it's intelligent story telling, and have had a ball meeting fans and even some of the actors! (Brag Piccys included below)

Might I also encourage those who can to buy up all the 3 seasons on DVD, there are some cut price deals going about, to enjoy Forever!

Hi madamCod, nice to see you here ;-)

I remember that opening night very well, we had so much fun and were happy to see them both together again. Damn, they looked good!

I remember you posting these before.  Doesn't it seem like a certain few actors from lexx end up working with their co-actors in other series?  It's kind of fun to look it up and do a cross comparison.  Was this at a fan get together in Halifax, Buggy?

This picture was taken on the first opening night party in Stratford, Ontario, right after the play (in 2004). Ger did a wonderful performance in "Do Not Go Gentle" and Nigel performed in "Goodnight Disgrace".

That was also the night were Nigel told us: "Never bleach your hair!" Because while he was doing Lexx his hair and eyebrows suffered a lot from all that bleaching. So, for the 4th season they decided not to bleach his eybrows any longer, and they had to cut his hair shorter...

There were two opening night parties because of the two plays, and we had so much fun. The party was held in a former church which was a few steps away from our B&B. Stratford is such a lovely little place. One thing I didn't know is the fact that one of the female singers I like to listen to lives there: Loreena McKennitt.

Interesting, I didn't know that part about his eyebrows for season four.  That's great that you've gotten to meet him so much.  I wish he was coming to Megacon, would be fabulous to meet him and talk about his Princely days.
