Greetings, Lexx geeks.

(I've explained and apologized a few times for being annoying, but didn't realize that I was asking for a privilege. I'll leave again if I find I'm causing discomfort.)

I wanted to share with other lexx fans that I watched a tv show (PBS) about immortality and they described the scenario where society becomes very afraid of physical injury, if they were to become immortal. It was describing the same thing as in Brigadoom.

P.S. Wow! I just switched on "Casanova" on Masterpiece Theater, starring David Tennant! I'll have to record it and watch it later. It looks great.

That's one of the things I like about Lexx. For all its (deliberate) sleaze and silly humour, a lot of its ideas are well thought out (up until season 4 anyway. Yuck.)

I actually think season 4 was a bit more subtle with the satire. There were a lot of correlations to some of the episodes P4X was a great satire and commentary on the Prison Industrial Complex.

Do you recall the name of the show on immortality, Varrtan?  It sounds interesting - I'd love to look into it some more... Brigadoom is my favorite episode of Lexx.

Also, Casanova with David Tennant and Peter O'Toole is wonderful!  I'm sure you've seen it by now, though.  ;o)

Could the show you are refering to, be THROUGH THE WORM HOLE w/Morgan Freeman.
They have a new show trying to explain near death experiences.

I cried, from the start of Casanova to the end.
I give it 5 stars.
