Okay I just finished watching it and it was good. Not nearly as gross as it is being made out to be yes some blood and gore but less than most horror movies have nowadays.

i agree... it was more disturbing than gross/gore, which i think is worse/better

A lot of room for your mind to fill in the blanks.  I still would like to know why victims in horror movies are soooo stupid.  How many times did she waltz past the phone in the bedroom without ever once calling someone?:bigthink:

This movie is playing at a film festival here in New Zealand (sadly, after watching the trailer I don't think I'll be attending, yeah I'm a wuss! :P ).

Anyway I was quite amazed to be woken up one morning this week by my clock radio playing an interview with Dieter Laser on my local station! There is a podcast of the interview here:

Thanks for the link. And really the hype made this out to be much worse than it was. It was a good 'marketing' technique though. Bet they got a lot of people who saw it simply to see what the furor was about.

I saw two different trailers and the making of some of it, and that was enough for me.  Thanks for posting the interview link, very interesting.

BTW I already dropped by and cast my vote. If you want to show a little support for Dieter Laser
Follow the link to the scream awards and give him your vote.
http://www.spike.com/event/scream/page/vote/category/39552/best-villain

I'm not into True Blood but there are 30 different categories and TB has some nominees too!

In case anyone missed it, Dieter Laser won his category for BEST VILLAIN, they actually showed a clip of the movie during the show and the audiences faces were absolutely horrified, and that's saying something for the Scream Awards...

ALL HAIL MANTRID !!!

I had actually got busy with other things and totally forgot about it. I'm not much of a TV watcher maybe two or three hours a week. But glad to see my vote actually counted somewhere!:2567:

just got done watching the human cinteped he made the movie creepy. Also i am pretty dirturbed by him still. he was the only thing that made the movie scary. Also one of those everyone dies flick. There were two parts that me me when he was pulling teeth and when one girl had her IV rip. like right throw her arm and was bleeding all over >.< Also i felt sorry for the 3 of them. I am guna watch number two he really seemed to have a lot of fun playing Dr. way to like terrefing for words.......not going to lie it was impresive seen the human cinteped once it was all done. As for horror movies go it was to soft not scary. But i will be stuck with what i saw for weeks win lose thing. but his acting was a win makes me not like doctors even more now.....he is a very strong person if it was really him lifting people. so if you want to see his acting watching the gore is low to nothing the discomfort and the feeling of been vialeted off the roof. seening were the two girls we put man that will be hard like i said to leave my head.....but the cover is more scary then the movie itself. ok that said number two then bed hello neightmares with Dieter Laser's name written all over them. Also is he manner really that cold in person? ok off to the movies i go ttyls.

DO NOT WATHC the second one that one was graphic for those who are not fans of gore. That said they showed a new born been killed by it's mother when she stepped on the gas to escape. That to me made me sick more then anything this people should be ashemed for killing a baby that way. I would have never killed my baby I will never bring harm to my son. I'd die trying to save him that said if i knew of this i would have never watched this stupid movie.

I have no desire to watch any of it, I watched the clip of the first movie and it was disturbing to me for a long time, I'll never watch these.

I don't think he would friend me on fb lol so no pictures for me to see. He is very creepy in this movie lol and is a great villain very different mad doctor then when he played mantrid on lexx. Lexx was a little dark humor from time to time. There was nothing funny about him in this movie not at all. Like I said he made the creep factor off the roof....
