Ok, I don't know how many of you are aware of this little gem, but it was produced by Michael Donovan, Paul's brother, for Canadian TV and an overwhelming satirical look at TV production in Canada, *and Germany, wink* and even has shows based on Lexx. Many of the stars in Lexx also appeared in this show and tons of amazing Canadian actors cut their teeth on the scripts at this Salter Street production. There is one particular show, called 'Arcadia 3000' which is overtly based on Lexx, and it even shows the Lexx sets, including the Cryochamber in several of it's stories and sets. Produced at Salter Street, filmed at Electropolis studios and helmed by the same camera and production crew as Lexx.

Actors appearing on this show:

Jeff Hirschfield, Patty Zentilli, Maury Chaykin (Pa /Gulleen),  Andy Jones (Smoor), Patrick McKenna (Red Green show), Mark McKinney (Kids in the Hall), Joe Flaherty, Kiefer Sutherland, Alex Carter, Arsinnee Kanajian (Atom Egoyan's wife), Margot Kidder, Chas Lawther (Paint Cans), Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall), Alan Van Sprang, and many others.

In Texas, it's currently showing on Saturday night, at 11pm, for the entie 5 seasons, which is something like 56 episodes. I emailed the head of  programming at KERA (public TV here) and they gave me the breakdown on each show, the synopsis and schedule. I figure 'Arcadia 3000' should appear sometime in September. For anyone in Texas, I'll make a note to include it in the announcements so you can grab it. I personally plan to snatch it since only one season is available on DVD and it's out of print now. Make sure to catch this series, it's hystercial, in a back-stabbing TV industry kind of way.
