Yeppe with some of my christmas money I managed to get the right gauged wire and beads, so when I'm feeling a little better, as I have an ear infection and tablets are making me feel a bit rough, I'll try and have another go at making a better one.
Thanks for your compliment ladies:-)

Look what happens when one gets the right gauged wire. Your Spider looks a lot better and no wires showing.
I got Purple and Orange beads, so I decided I'd make a purple one first. It's the same one but one's taken with a flash.

I can't make no more, because I can't find anyone that wants one. The two green ones look so cool leaning up against my fake pot plants in the porch.
And here's a better photo, although you still can't see it like I do, of the red crystal beaded bead that I still I've been wearing since I made it. I even go to bed with it on as I forget to take it off.

That's enough of me showing off me stuff, me hobby.

I've come to like Purple too because of you and Loretta but I still don't like pink though. That's one of my friends favorites too.
I've been into red a lot. I think red and black look so cool together.Last edited on Wed Nov 4th, 2009 01:32 pm by Dragonflygurl

I just finished an afghan this afternoon (well I still have a little work to do on the fringe) and decided to take a picture. As you can see, someone (Twilight) decided it needed to be cuddle/sleep tested.

WOW that's amazing CheshieKat. It's so beautiful too and no wonder Twilight is cuddle sleep testing it Very talented you are too. How long did it take you to make that then?

That's lovely Chessie, such intricate work, no wonder the Kitty wanted to take it for a test drive.

I've been a busy beaver this year. This is another afghan I finished that I want to try to sell on ebay. I call this one my Sunshine Afghan.

This is the afghan I'm working on now. I call this one my Drinking Afghan because the colors are Cafe, Claret & Cherry Cola

Very pretty, I just might have to buy the one you're working on, how big is the finished size?

It's 58" x 66". I like to make them a little bigger than the original pattern asks for. That way they're big enough to share

WOW that sunset red and yellow one is my favorite. Shame I can't do online shopping. I've had problems with ebay. Do you make those on a machine? They are beautiful.
For reasons I can't go into right now as complicated I don't have any heating on and I'm sitting here freezing. Last night was really bad as it was gail force winds and rain and I had to go to bed fully dressed, with four blankets and my electric blanket on low to get warm. My poor cats were so cold they curled up right up against me.
